About Us
Established in 1982, The Arbors is the only senior residence owned and operated by the Murray Family. Personal, hands on attention is the hallmark of our service. Our staff has been here for years! The length of service of our full-time employees is 15 years on average. Many of our part-time staff can match that record too. This is your assurance of warmth and stability.
Location
The Arbors is situated on three beautifully landscaped acres in the heart of the Jersey Shore. Begin on our property, then go to the park a block away, to the center of town, to church, or to the ocean, beach and boardwalk. We are across the street from the Spring Lake train station, on the bus line, and convenient to the Garden State Parkway.
Fees
We have No Entry Fee, No Admission Fee, No Community Fee.
No matter what it’s called, we don’t have one. Your $250.00 deposit to reserve your room is applicable to your first month’s rent. If you happen to change your mind, all but $100.00 of that deposit is returned to you. Like any rental situation, a FULLY REFUNDABLE security deposit equal to one and one half month’s rent is required.
Our office is staffed 24 hours every day for your peace of mind. We are a smoke-free building, that is licensed by the State of New Jersey to monitor medications. While we encourage independence, our long-term goal is to have a resident stay in place with assistance, when needed. Personal assistance for bathing, dressing, etc. can be arranged through the office.
Additional Information:
- Private appointments are scheduled routinely with a nurse who oversees the general well-being of our residents
- Guests may choose to use their own bedroom furniture, or ours at no extra cost. A storage area is provided for luggage and seasonal clothing.
- A residents’ Beauty Parlor/Barber Shop is on the premises, and appointments may be scheduled two days a week
